Setting up your first room
Spaces & Facilities helps you manage rooms, bookings, and facility operations. Let's create your first room.
Creating a building
If you have multiple locations, create a Building first:
- Go to Spaces → Buildings in the sidebar
- Click + New Building
- Enter name, address, and description
Creating a room
- From the Spaces dashboard, click + New Room
- Follow the 2-step wizard:
- Basics — name, building, floor, room type, capacity, photo
- Settings — amenities, accessibility features, operating hours, approval required, setup/teardown times
Room types
Room wording adapts to your organisation type:
- Churches → Rooms
- Gyms → Studios
- Sports clubs → Courts
- Schools → Classrooms
- Real estate → Properties
Configuring bookings
From the room detail page, set:
- Booking rules — max duration, minimum notice, advance booking window
- Approval required — if toggled, bookings need admin approval before confirming
- Pricing (Pro+) — internal and external hourly/daily rates for paid bookings
- Layouts — different seating arrangements (e.g. theatre, boardroom, banquet)
