Creating your first event
Ticketing & Events lets you create events, sell tickets, and check in attendees at the door.
Step 1: Create the event
- Go to Events in the sidebar
- Click + New Event
- Follow the 3-step wizard:
- Basics — title, category, start and end time, location type (in-person / virtual / hybrid)
- Location — venue address or virtual platform (Zoom, Meet, etc.)
- Template — start from scratch or an existing template
Step 2: Add ticket types
From the event detail page, go to the Tickets tab and click + Add Ticket Type.
- Starter tier (£29/mo): Free tickets only
- Pro tier (£79/mo): Paid tickets via Stripe, early bird pricing, promo codes, addons, and bundles
Step 3: Publish and share
Click Publish in the top bar. Your event now has a public page at /e/{slug}. Share the link or embed it on your website using the embed code in the Distribution tab.
Step 4: Check people in
When the event starts, open the Check-in tab and click Open Fullscreen Check-in. Scan attendee QR codes with any device camera, or search by name or card last-4.
