Selling paid tickets
Paid tickets are available on the Pro (£79/mo) and Scale (£149/mo) tiers and use Stripe for payment processing.
Prerequisites
You need a connected Stripe account. Go to Settings → Billing → Stripe Connect to connect your Stripe account if you haven't already.
Creating a paid ticket type
- Open the event detail page
- Go to the Tickets tab
- Click + Add Ticket Type
- Enter a name (e.g. "General Admission"), description, and price
- Set quantity available, sale start/end dates
- Optionally enable early bird pricing
- Save
Promo codes (Pro+)
Create percentage-off or fixed-amount codes in the Promo Codes tab. Limit by quantity, expiry date, or specific ticket types. Bulk-create codes for mass distribution.
Refunds
From the Attendees tab, find the attendee and click Refund in the row menu. Refunds go through Stripe and appear in the attendee's statement within 5-10 business days.
Fees
- Sendifai platform fee: 2%
- Stripe processing fee: 1.5% + 20p (UK cards) — set by Stripe
- You can pass fees to buyers ("Cover the fees") or absorb them
Currency
Pricing defaults to your organisation currency (configurable in Settings). Each event can override the currency.
